Compare Combat Zone: Wall Crawlers (Edgerunners) and Law Dogs (Lawmen) on box contents, playstyle, and price to pick the right gang for your table.
Quick answer
Choose Combat Zone: Wall Crawlers (Edgerunners) if you want a single elite specialist to anchor a flexible, character-driven gang. Choose Combat Zone: Law Dogs (Lawmen) if you want three models—an Officer and two K-9s—to add numbers and support to a Lawmen crew.
What each box adds to your gang
Wall Crawlers delivers one Edgerunner miniature plus cards, giving you a lone specialist whose diverse skills are described as a match for any gang in the Zone. Law Dogs delivers three Lawmen miniatures—an Officer and a pair of K-9s—plus six Lawmen Character cards, so it immediately deepens a Lawmen roster with multiple profiles.
The practical difference is scale: one elite model versus a small supporting team. Neither box is a complete starter gang on its own; both are expansions that assume you already have a core gang to attach them to.
Playstyle trade-off: flexibility vs board presence
Edgerunners are framed as elite specialists, which suits players who prefer a compact, adaptable force where each model carries more weight. Lawmen with K-9 support lean toward a structured, patrol-style crew with more activation presence and card options.
If you enjoy list-building around one standout character, Wall Crawlers is the more natural fit. If you prefer covering more of the table and having backup profiles, Law Dogs gives you more models to work with.
Price and value at a glance
At catalog prices, Law Dogs is the lower-cost entry at USD 12.00 (compared to USD 20.00), while Wall Crawlers is USD 14.60 (compared to USD 20.00). Per model, Law Dogs spreads the cost across three miniatures; Wall Crawlers concentrates it in one specialist.
That makes Law Dogs the easier impulse add if you are growing a Lawmen gang, and Wall Crawlers the more targeted pick if you specifically want an Edgerunner specialist.
Key trade-offs to weigh
- Model count: Wall Crawlers gives you 1 miniature; Law Dogs gives you 3. More models means more board presence but more to assemble and paint. Count your painting time before choosing the bigger box.
- Gang identity: Wall Crawlers is an Edgerunners expansion; Law Dogs is a Lawmen expansion. Pick the box that matches the gang you already play or plan to start.
- Card support: Law Dogs includes 6 Lawmen Character cards; Wall Crawlers includes 3 cards. More cards give you more profile options, but only if you are building a Lawmen roster.
- Budget: At catalog price, Law Dogs is USD 12.00 and Wall Crawlers is USD 14.60. Law Dogs is cheaper upfront and covers three models.
