These ladder stands actually stay upright on my modular board instead of tipping like the flimsy ones I've tried before. The long ladders are tall enough to reach my second-story walkways, and the rungs are chunky enough that miniatures sit on them without sliding off.
The two long ladders are the perfect height for reaching the upper walkways on my city buildings, and the little stands keep them from tipping during play. They're sturdier than they look and blend right into the scatter terrain.
Finally my figures can actually get to the upper levels instead of just standing around. These ladders are long enough to reach the building heights and the stands hold them steady mid-game. Two per pack is a solid deal for scatter terrain.
