Team Monster vs C-Suite: Picking Your Next Edgerunners Crew

Quick answer

Choose Team Monster if you want a full five-model merc crew with ten character cards for flexible gang building. Choose C-Suite if you want a compact three-model corporate-themed crew with six cards and a lower entry cost.

What the model count changes at the table

Team Monster's five miniatures give you more bodies to spread across a Combat Zone board, which matters when you want to hold multiple objectives or absorb losses without losing your whole crew. C-Suite's three miniatures concentrate your presence, so every model carries more weight and you feel each loss sooner.

Neither box is a complete gang on its own; both are expansions that add mercs or Edgerunners to your existing Combat Zone gang. Check your current roster before buying so you know whether you need more numbers or a specialized corporate flavor.

Card count and list-building flexibility

Team Monster includes ten character cards for five models, meaning each miniature can be fielded in more than one configuration. That gives you room to tune your gang between games without buying another box. C-Suite includes six cards for three models, which still offers options but with fewer total combinations.

If you enjoy experimenting with loadouts and swapping roles, the larger card pool in Team Monster supports that. If you prefer a tighter, more focused crew where each model has a clear identity, C-Suite's smaller pool keeps decisions simple.

Thematic fit: mercs versus corporate

Team Monster is described as a box of Mercs, fitting a street-level crew that fights for control in the Combat Zone. C-Suite is framed around corporate Edgerunners, with a linked scenario called Trouble In The C-Suite that you can use to build a narrative around executive extraction or corporate warfare.

Pick the theme that matches the gang you already play. A Law Dogs or Piranhas gang may look more natural alongside mercs, while a corporate bundle or a scenario-driven campaign gives C-Suite a clear role.

Decision rules for your next crew

• You need more bodies on the board: Pick Team Monster when your current gang is thin on models and you want five more mercs to spread across objectives. Count your current models first; if you are below six, Team Monster closes the gap fastest.
• You want a compact corporate crew: Pick C-Suite when you want three themed Edgerunners and a scenario to anchor a narrative campaign.
• You value list-building options: Team Monster's ten cards for five models give more combinations per box than C-Suite's six cards for three models.
• You are building around an existing corporate gang: C-Suite fits naturally if you already run a corporate bundle or plan to play the Trouble In The C-Suite scenario.
